Kandy to Knuckles cycling tour based on countryside and scenic tea plantations. Kandy to Knuckles cycling tour is the adventurous part of the Kandy to Knuckles cycling tour. Kandy to Knuckles cycling tour is mixed terrain and elevation starts from 600 meters to 1200 meters. You will cycle Kandy to Knuckles along the Campbell’s Lane Forest reserve and Knuckles Forest reserve. You will enjoy the Sri Lankan lunch at top of the Knuckles–Riverstone and after the lunch you will mini walk to Knuckles Forest explore the nature and mini world’s end. Knuckles highly significant bio-diversified forest in Sri Lanka and you will explore much endemic flora and fauna in the knuckles forest. There are 20 peaks in the knuckles mountain range.
Before the breakfast you will do 2 hrs nature walk with the local tracker and exploring the beauty of the nature deeply. You will return to the campsite around 9 a.m. and you will enjoy the breakfast at the nature. After the breakfast you will cycling to Sigiriya and it is medium level cycle tour knuckles to Sigiriya. You will mostly enjoy the flat and slightly downhills. You will cycle knuckles (1200 meters) to 200 meters; hence it is not hard cycling tour in Knuckles to Sigiriya.

If you can start the cycle tour around 6 a.m. with packed breakfast, it is a fantastic idea and that would be much more comfortable to ride and you can reach to Knuckles Mountain Bottom (Rattota) around 10 a.m. we have experienced, if you get late to reach to Knuckles bottom 1 p.m. and you will spend at least 3 hrs. To reach the next point (Riverstone) and you will get tired.
Yes, of course! We will bring some extra fruits to keep you comfortable and some sandwich (such as tomato and cheese). You need some extra energy ride such long distance.

Yes! sometimes you might need to manage with nature. Because this trail based in remote locations and you might not able to access build WCs every place.
Yes! if you are or partner is not comfortable climbing, then you can skip hard part of the cycle tour and you can use our support truck, skip the hard area and start again wherever comfortable place.
Yes, of course! Wherever if your partner not feels well or tired, she / he can stop the ride, get into support truck and you can continue the cycle tour with our cycling guide. Partner can relax on the vehicle and it is always behind us for the support throughout the tour. If your partner fits enough to ride again and your partner feels free to cycle again wherever comfortable.
Or your partner can get E-bike with extra battery and then partner can ride comfortably.

Yes! every cycle tour we will carry out a few extra cycles for selection to our valued customers and we will keep additional cycles until the tour end because if your cycle did not function well in between the tour, we will try to fix it during the cycle tour but if we feel take the time to fix the bike, then immediately we will replace the cycle instead of spend the time to fixing the cycle. We dislike keeping waiting long duration and warm down the body. We are always looking forward to offering wonderful cycle tour in Sri Lanka.
If you could not ride due to weather, low light or fitness issue, then you can get the support from our back-up vehicle and others can continue the cycle tour with our guide. We will drop you in your hotel as part of the tour, and there is not any additional cost for that transport.
Or after the sometime later, if you are comfortable to ride again with your team or partner and you can join with the cycle tour again. We do not push you to end the cycle tour as expected duration. We will keep paddling with you until the tour end and at the end we are looking forward to offer wonderful ride that you spend money.
It is a basic tent and toilet set up by outside (few meters away from the tent). It is a private tent and you need to share with only your partner or if you are single, then you will get a single tent.
It is basic scout tent and cannot install bed to inside but we will offer comfortable matters with linen.
There are few campsites in the village area and Knuckle’s forest area managed by Forest Department. We will select the campsite safer, nature and attractive place. There will be staff around you and one by one sleep shift basis to ensure the safety. Anyway, campsite set up known place and Forest Department knows where we camping and we will inform them as well. campsite may not set up animal access locations. Hence, it is 100% safe location.
We will check with your meal allergic and we will offer comfortable meat items and foods for you. You will consume all Sri Lankan spicy foods and besides local foods, we will offer western type foods as well such bread, omelet, butter, jam as well.
