Elevation
You will pick up from the Kandy hotel by Tuk Tuk with luggage and transfer to Kandy Ceylon Tea Museum. You will welcome the cycling crew at the entrane of Ceylon Tea Museum. Bike Tours in Sri Lanka cycling guide will do the briefing about the Day 01 cycling trail and You will start the Kandy to Kithulgala adventure cycling tour.
Kandy to Kithulgala adventure cycling tour based on countryside, scenic tea plantations and mixed terrain. From Kandy to Nawalapitiya (70 Km) you will cycle in mixed terrain along the countryside. Nawalapitiya to Kithulgala, you will do “B” grade on Hatton Road and it is mostly downhill terrain.
You will reach to Kithulgala in the evening (5 p.m) and you will relax at the campsite. You can have a river bath and evening chilled with beer near the river bank.
You will enjoy BBQ dinner near the river bank and with a campfire.
After the breakfast, you will cycle to Handun Ella Waterfall along the rubber plantation and you will experience way of locals working in rubber plantation. It is a 15 km uphill cycle tour in Kithulgala countryside. You will do 2 Km hike to top of the Handun Ella waterfall. The abseiling crew will do the safety briefing and abseiling instructor will do the demonstration to ensure the safety of the ropes.
You will climb down along with waterfall 110 feet and it is a challenging activity in Kithulgala.
After the abseiling experience you will visit Beli Lena cave and it is over 32,000 years old ancient Homo sapiens balangodensis lived way in Sri Lanka.
You will return to the campsite for lunch and after the lunch you will transfer to Rafting point by truck. You will enjoy the thrilling, adventurous white water rafting in Kithulgala. It is 5 km rafting with 7 rapids and it is Grade 2–3 level rafting experience.
After the Rafting, return to the campsite and refresh with cup of tea. After the evening refreshment, Kandy to Kithulgala cycling tour will be ended.

Yes, of course! Wherever if your partner not feels well or tired, she / he can stop the ride, get into support truck and you can continue the cycle tour with our cycling guide. Partner can relax on the vehicle and it is always behind us for the support throughout the tour. If your partner fits enough to ride again and then your partner feels free to cycle again wherever comfortable.

Yes! every cycle tour we will carry out a few extra cycles for selection to our valued customers and we will keep additional cycles until the tour end because if your cycle did not function well in between the tour, we will try to fix it during the cycle tour but if we feel take the time to fix the bike, then immediately we will replace the cycle instead of spend the time to fixing the cycle. We dislike keeping waiting long duration and warm down the body. We are always looking forward to offering wonderful cycle tour in Sri Lanka.
If you could not ride due to weather, low light or fitness issue, then you can get the support from our back-up vehicle and others can continue the cycle tour with our guide. We will drop you in your hotel as part of the tour, and there is not any additional cost for that transport.
Or after the sometime later, if you are comfortable to ride again with your team or partner and you can join with the cycle tour again.
We do not push you to end the cycle tour as expected duration. We will keep paddling with you until the tour end and at the end we are looking forward to offer wonderful ride that you spend money.
It is a basic tent and toilet set up by outside (few meters away from the tent). It is a private tent and you need to share with only your partner or if you are single, then you will get a single tent.
